ART 273, CS 565, CIS 565
This course focuses on techniques of 3D computer animation. It combines critical readings
with studio projects that employ a variety of animation software models. Topics covered
are storyboarding, modeling, 2-D and 3-D key frame animation, motion and kinematics, lighting
effects and shading, texturing and material properties, physical simulation, and cinematography.
The last third of the semester is dedicated to creating a one-minute video.
