Undergraduate Research at the PCG
Cornell University Program of Computer Graphics |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Each semester the Program of Computer Graphics
invites several undergraduate students to work with
our graduate students and staff members.
Many of these students are enrolled in Cornell's Architecture department.
They are given an opportunity to supplement their studio education
with hands-on computer modeling experience.
The students work with both commercial and internally developed software for modeling and rendering complex scenes. The images they create can often be included in their portfolio, and in some cases constitutes a large portion of their thesis work. The models that the students make are used by our researchers to test the global illumination algorithms we develop. The work of several former and present undergraduate students is present in these portfolios. Undergraduate Project Portfolios
